Unfortunately there are so many nutty people and groups using crazy antics as well as politicians abusing environmental issues for panic politics that real environmental issues get lost in the static. It's become difficult to separate reality from stupidity and many people, myself included, justifiably look at environmental issues with a great deal skepticism. That is a major crime because there are many environmental issues worth fighting for. Issues that nearly everybody would care about if they were informed in a calm, truthful, and reasonable way. There is almost always two sides to any argument. It's often a balance between the immediate needs of people or economic factors that may justify taking a hit on the environment and there are cases where the gains are just not worth it. I will use this space to highlight issues that I would like to bring awareness to because in my view, which I hope will translate to the reasonable view, they need to be addressed.
